Proptechwiz (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by StartReq Ventures, is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our buyer matching platform.

We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

2. Data We Collect

Account data: your name, email address and password credentials.

Buyer profile data: budget, preferred state, city and location, property type, bedroom needs, income and financial commitments used to compute affordability.

Verification documents: credit reports (CCRIS / CTOS) you choose to upload.

Listing data (agencies): property details, photos, pricing and contact numbers you publish.

3. How We Use Your Data

To match verified buyers with relevant agency listings across Malaysia.

To operate, maintain and improve the platform and your account.

To calculate affordability indicators such as your Debt Service Ratio.

To communicate service updates and respond to your enquiries.

4. Consent (PDPA)

Every buyer profile is created only after you give explicit PDPA consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Where consent is withdrawn, we will stop processing the relevant personal data unless we are required to retain it by law.

5. Data Sharing

Buyer preference summaries are shared with agencies only to facilitate a match. Uploaded credit documents are never sold or shared for marketing.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Your Rights

You may access and correct your personal data through your account at any time.

You have the right to erasure: you can purge your buyer data and uploaded documents using the controls in your buyer hub.

7. Data Security & Retention

Uploaded documents are stored in access-controlled private storage. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service or to meet legal obligations.
